This is important for you to know - we are not a program driven church. We don't feel that being overly busy and having full schedules leads us to find the peace in our lives. We have a simple schedule. Much that happens in our church happens between individuals in ways that cannot be mapped or scheduled.

Sunday Morning
Bible study for all ages...................9:15 am
Doughnuts and coffee..................10:15 am
Worship.........................................10:30 am (Ends in approximately one hour)
Hanging around.............................People stay after church on Sundays for up to an hour, talking, putting things away, etc.

Community Supper- Wednesday
We meet at the church at 6pm each Wednesday for a shared meal and informal conversation around the tables. All are welcome to join us.

Monthly Potluck
We enjoy a potluck lunch the last Sunday of every month. If you are a "regular" at Covenant, please bring something to share that will feed your family plus a few more. If you are planning to visit on a Potluck Sunday, feel free to join us and enjoy a Sunday without cooking! There is ALWAYS enough to share.

Our land is wooded and beautiful, and we plan to keep it that way. We only have to drive a few minutes to get there, but feel like we’ve left town. We worship God in a room with a fireplace and lots of glass so we can see the live oak and mountain laurel. We hope you can join us for worship some day soon.

Covenant Baptist Church is located in the far northeast part of San Antonio. We are 3.5 miles outside of Loop 1604 on FM 2252. Nacogdoches Road becomes FM 2252 outside the loop. We are on the East side of FM 2252, right across the street from Northeast Bible Church.
